How to screen who can book a service
On this page
When a service is not for everyone (speech therapy for children only, or not for stuttering), you can ask before showing times. Clear cases are referred straight to a trusted specialist and doubtful ones wait for the professional to decide.
Add your trusted specialists
- Open Your business → Trusted specialists and click Add.
- Enter the name, specialty and contact (phone, WhatsApp or booking link). The note for the patient is shared together with the contact.
- Save. Only active specialists are offered when referring.
Say who a service is for
- Open Services, open the service and scroll to Who can book.
- Under Patient’s age, enter the ages you see, from and to. Under Outside that range, choose what happens: Review, Refer (and to whom) or Do not see.
- Click Add question (up to five). It can be Yes / No or Options. For each answer choose what happens: Continue, Refer to a specialist or Review.
- Click Save. With Active off, the service asks nothing.
The patient never sees what each answer does. Questions are evaluated in order, and a Refer answer decides at once.
What the patient sees
- On the booking page, Before choosing a time appears after their details. Times only open if the service is right for them.
- If referred, they see the specialist and their contact, and can click Ask the clinic to review your case if they think it is something else.
- On WhatsApp, SarAI asks the same questions before offering times, shares the specialist’s contact or says the clinic will review the case. It never books a service the screening did not let through.
Review the doubtful cases
- Open Booking screening. The bell tells you each time a case is waiting.
- Under To review, click See answers to read what they said.
- Click Approve or Refer (choose to whom, or no one). If the case came through WhatsApp, SarAI writes to the patient with the decision. If it came from the booking page, contact them yourself at the email or phone they left.
Below, Why patients are referred shows the demand you do not serve, by question and by age, over the last 30 days.
